Draught Proofing addresses a fundamental problem with heritage windows and doors by engineering brush strips on to all contacting surfaces, identical to those found on contemporary sash and casement windows. These concealed, rebated draught-proof strips are hidden when the windows closed and barely detectable when open.
Window Repairs can be made to even extensively rotten windows and doors. We remove all the decaying timber and rebuild and reform using hardwood and flexible epoxy resins from Repair Care. It's more economical than replacing and the outcome is an original heritage window with all its inherent weaknesses removed.
